Q: How do I get the search bar or portal on my site?
Follow easy step-by-step instructions in the distributor
section of the website. Create your own portal, and
the Adventure Engine site will e-mail you the code
you need. You tell the site how you want the search
bar to limit results by any of our search features,
and Adventure Engine creates the code you can cut
and paste into the body of your website. You can do
this yourself, or forward the code to your webmaster
(it takes about 1 minute to cut and paste).
Q: What does the portal look like?
The actual portal looks very similar to the simple
search on our homepage adventureengine.com. You can
create your own portal based on color and search features.

homepage that link to your portal and your trips.

Q: What if I am not computer savvy?
Adventure Engine is easy to navigate and operate.
If you are able to send e-mail and search on google,
you will easily be able to operate Adventure Engine.
We will alleviate the costs and frustration of database
and online store maintenance by maintaining the database,
your search bar and portal, and all affiliated payment
and reporting features.
Q: Will my data be safe?
Adventure Engine has 128 bit– encryption, with
results that are dynamic (they get pulled away from
the database when shown) so your data isn’t
stored near the public domain. The system is backed-up
and recorded constantly, and you can back up your
data to your personal computer as well as our data
vaults. Errors on your computer will not affect the
database, its information or its functionality. Our
server provides a multi-redundancy backup system to
ensure the security and integrity of your inventory.
In addition, customer credit card information is not
stored on the Adventure Engine server, but rather
in our merchant services’ data vault.
Q: How do I get paid?
You will create an account with Adventure Engine,
and your company/organization will be assigned an
account number and ID. The search bar or portal you
design and download will have your code and ID in
it, so every transaction that is completed through
your portal will end in a commission automatically
allocated to you (by auto bank deposit, email transfer
or cheque mailed).
Q: How do I know the quality of the operators?
In our first version, operators are required to submit
business license and insurance information and three
supplier references to be verified by Adventure Engine
staff. In addition our customer rating and feedback
system is under development and when released you
will be able to read feedback from consumers online.
