The technology is called a portal. It's this technology that links our database to other websites and creates the online store. Its through this portal clients can search, compare and buy trips online without leaving your site.


Main uses

  1. Suppliers - instantly create online sales capability on their website, and get their existing agents to book through a portal as well. This allows them to track and manage agent commissions.
  2. Distributors / agent - instantly create online sales capability on their website. Distributors can select the trips / operators they want to promote and sell. The portal tracks seats sold and commissions earned. Add new inventory in minutes. RSS / XML feeds are available.


How it works

We have lots of options so that you can pick the portal that is right for you (our client care department can help with this) Adventure Engine provides you with the custom code.
Paste code into a cell in a new website page on your site (its only 2 lines of code)
Visitors to your site can search all trips, or choose from search parameters such as activity or location that you have set up.

They can then book a trip without ever leaving your site. Trip revenues go to Adventure Engine. We deduct our transaction fee (1%), send commissions to distributors if applicable and the remainder goes to the supplier.

Portals can be changed to suite your business and your website You can easily change the colour, content and look and feel of your portal.
As a distributor, you can choose all trips from just one company, or any combination of regions, activities, operators, commissions.
As a supplier, you can show a listing of all trips or a place a 'book now' button by trips listed on your site. See below for portal options.

Talk to your clients and then direct them to book on your website at their convenience. Your web master only uploads 2 lines of code. It takes about 15 minutes then you can edit it easily from your administration area without bothering your web tech again!

1. Search Bar

  1. This option is recommended for distributors or large suppliers that are displaying 25 or more trips in their portal
  2. Your customers can search trips by availability, keyword, location, activity, group size, duration, hot seat, price or specialty
  3. Search results will appear in list form with the trip name, a photo, the price, the duration, the difficulty level, the availability and a brief trip description
  4. Customers can click to a detailed itinerary page, and to the shopping cart and check-out page
  5. You can customize the link button, the portal font, the portal colours, the search constraints and the search fields that appear

2. Trip Listing

  1. This option is recommended for distributors or suppliers displaying less than 25 trips that do not already have a complete trip description and itinerary on their website
  2. Your customers will see a list of trips with the trip name, a photo, the price, the duration, the difficulty level, the availability and a brief trip description
  3. Customers can click to a detailed itinerary page, and to the shopping cart and check-out page
  4. You can customize the link button, the portal font and the portal colours and the search constraints

3. 'Book Now' Buttons to the Itinerary Page

  1. This option is recommended for distributors or suppliers displaying less than 25 trips that currently have trip descriptions on their website, but not a detailed itinerary
  2. Your customer will see a 'Book Now' button beside each trip description currently on your website that will link to a detailed trip itinerary page
  3. Customers can click to the shopping cart and check-out page
  4. You can customize the 'Book Now' button, the portal font, the portal colours and the search constraints

4. 'Book Now' Buttons to the Shopping Cart Page

  1. This option is recommended for distributors or supplier displaying less than 25 trips that currently have trip descriptions and detailed itineraries on their website
  2. Your customer will see a 'Book Now' button beside each trip currently on your website that will link to the shopping cart and check-out page
  3. You can customize the 'Book Now' button, the portal font, the portal colours and the search constraints
