'We have been using Adventure Engine almost since their inception and we've been very happy with the service. It has saved us a HUGE amount of time with database management and processing sales, and has made booking trips easier for customers as well. Over 80% of our customers now book their trips online. Where before we used to have to call our customers back when they made a booking and get all their information and credit card, and then mail them a trip dossier and information, now all that happens online. They even download their dossier and trip waiver - we have to do almost nothing except call the client to say thanks! We're extremely happy with Adventure Engine. Recently we rolled out an agent portal system that allows our partners (companies that contract us to do trips) to access our database and make bookings. "Unusual Tours specializes in fully supported bicycling tours in, and around, Oregon. With our unique support services, groups can tour the remote regions of Oregon while still enjoying the amenities of comfort camping. A bicycling tour does not have to be all about bicycling so we specialize in adding unique activities and events to our tours that allow our guest to enjoy the recreational variety that Oregon has to offer. Our specialty offering is custom tour packages for groups of up to 22 riders. Groups can choose their own route and ride difficulty. The group can add optional motel stays, events, and activities for a truly Unusual Tour! With the combination of conventional packaged tours and customized group tours we found it difficult to find a booking engine that would meet our complex needs. Most of the booking engines available are so generic that they were almost useless to a recreational touring business. We were almost resigned to having to have a custom web site developed from scratch to meet our needs. This would have been very expensive and time consuming. Luckily we found Adventure Engine. The folks at Adventure Engine were very helpful in explaining how their system worked and how the various features could be used to meet our unique needs. It quickly became apparent that this was the booking system that we wanted to use with our existing web site. Once we got signed up we immediately started entering some trips into the system. The next day we spent an hour or so with Adventure Engine's client care team getting clarification on terms and features that were not immediately apparent. A couple more short conversations about how best to use the system to accommodate our custom tours and we had it figured out. We integrated Adventure System into our existing web site and went live about a week after our initial registration. We are very pleased with the functionality of the Adventure Engine and we look forward to any enhancements that Adventure Engine might add in the future."
